What are the hours I can send my child to the centre?

School term (weekdays only) 1:00pm-7:00pm
School holidays (weekdays only) 8:00am-7:00pm

What happens if I cannot pick up my child by 7.00pm?

You need to inform us beforehand and a late pick up charge may be imposed.

On special days like PSLE marking days or when the school is dismissed earlier due to festive celebrations such as Chinese New Year or National Day, are you open for the children to come?

Yes, on these days, we are open from the time the children are dismissed or full day from 8:00am to 7:00pm.

Can my child join the After-School Care mid-way through a school term?

Yes you can, but it is subject to vacancy. We encourage parents to enrol their child as early as possible.

Do you provide taster sessions?

Yes! Your child is welcome to join us for Brave Feats Experience Day, a half-day trial from 12:30pm to 6:00pm, to explore the centre and immerse himself/herself in our routine before joining us. Please contact us for more information!

Is there a trial period?

Yes! We offer a 1-month trial period for your child to settle into the new environment. Once he/she is adapting well, we will require deposits to be paid on the second month.

Are meals provided at your centre?

Yes. We provide lunch and tea break.

Where are the meals from?

They are catered from a NEA licensed caterer.

Are your meals Halal?

Halal meals will be provided upon request.

Do you provide shower facilities at your centre?

We do not have shower facilities. We recommend children to bring a small towel to freshen up daily before changing into their Brave Feats T-shirt.

Is there nap time?

There is no nap time scheduled but the children can rest during quiet time either after lunch or after their work time.

What will the children do during homework supervision period if they have no homework?

They may read a book or explore a topic of interesting through activities provided. 

Will the teachers guide the children in their school work?

Our teachers do not teach the children new concepts or the school curriculum, however they will support and guide the children in completing their school work. The focus of homework time is to develop Executive Functioning Skills (e.g. Organising, Time Management, Task Initiation) in our children.

What is your teacher to student ratio?

We have one teacher to 10-15 students.

How do the students go to your centre? Do you pick up my child from his/her school?

Children are usually dropped off by school buses or family members.
Currently, we only pick up children from Fengshan Primary School.

Can my child leave Brave Feats Student Care on his/her own?

In view of your child’s safety, children should be picked up by parents/guardians in person from the school premises. You may nominate a proxy to pick your child for the occasions you are not able to be present personally. You may nominate this person(s) in the registration form. 

For older children, parents can give written consent for the child to leave the centre by themselves at a daily agreed time.

How will my child(ren) be protected against COVID-19?

All students and staffs have to be vaccinated prior to enrolling with Brave Feats.

Safety practices such as daily temperature taking or mask wearing (when necessary) will be carried out.

I will be going overseas during the school holidays. Are the fees still chargeable?

Yes, fees are chargeable every month regardless of your attendance.

Are there any extra charges during the school holidays?

You DO NOT need to pay the holiday surcharge:
If your child comes for half day service (8:00am – 1:30pm or 12:30pm – 7:00pm) during the 12 weeks of school holidays (March, June, September, November and December).

You NEED to pay the holiday surcharge:
If your child comes for the full day service (8.00am – 7.00pm) during the 12 weeks of school holidays (March, June, September, November and December) and/or special occasions during the school term such as PSLE marking day etc. The holiday surcharge is calculated on a weekly basis.

This will be collated at the end of the month and billed to you the following month.

How can I communicate with the Brave Feats staff?

We are committed to communicating with parents about the progress of your children through the following ways:

  • Telephone calls
  • SMS
  • Informal discussions during pick up
  • Planned appointments

Our teachers will also contact you should the need arise.

Can my child attend the Weekend Workshops classes if he is not in your After-School / Student Care programme?

Yes. Our Weekend Workshops are open to the public.

Are the Weekend Workshops meant for children only?

No. Our Weekend Workshops are for both Children and Adults.
